This imposing red brick arts and crafts / gothic style house was built in 1890 for a wealthy doctor and is now our family home. The first two floors constitute our living accommodation leaving the entire top floor as a spacious double bedroomed apartment with its own separate access via the old servants staircase. Perfect for couples wishing to get away from it all, the apartment retains all of its original character and charm, but is at the same time very private with stunning views across the gardens to Ravenscar. Guests return again and again.
There is a spacious sitting room / dining room with TV, dvd player, stereo and views. A large double bedroom with amazing views out to sea, seen whilst snuggled up in your cosy duvet and feather pillows. The large bathroom is host to a full size sauna and roll top bath. The breakfast provided is a hearty start to your day if not then tempted by the delights of the many local pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Red House is 5 minutes away from the old village along Thorpe Lane or 15 minutes along the railway line and down through the fields and woods to the back of the Bay chip shop.
